Tools We Use

These are the tools that Anne and Ryan personally use to help them stay safe in the digital world!

LastPass

Anne & Ryan use:

We use LastPass as our password manager. The app is user-friendly and available as both a desktop and mobile app, as well as a browser extension. Using a password manager enables us to create unique and complex passwords for each website and application we log into. The best part is that we only have to remember one password: the one we use to log into LastPass.

We're fans of LastPass's additional features, such as emergency access, the ability to create secure notes, and password sharing. Although there are many great password managers out there, we have been using LastPass successfully for many years.

The 2Stable Authenticator App is exclusively for Apple devices. Ryan prefers it for two-factor authentication because the app syncs across all his Apple devices. It offers end-to-end encryption using a single password and encrypts backups via iCloud.

Ryan uses ExpressVPN across multiple devices. He primarily uses it for changing his IP address to multiple locations around the world when performing web development tasks.

What Ryan really likes about ExpressVPN is that it's incredibly easy to use and the service claims to have "No activity logs".
